We transformed this cozy home by removing several low-bearing walls, opening up the space to create a seamless flow between the kitchen and living room. At the heart of the design is a grand dual-sided fireplace that rises dramatically to meet the vaulted ceiling, serving as a stunning focal point from every angle.

To enhance the farmhouse aesthetic, the ceiling is adorned with exposed wooden beams that add both warmth and architectural interest. The fireplace is clad in natural wood shiplap panels, bringing texture and rustic charm to the space. A standout feature is the mantel, crafted from an antique railroad tie, custom-built to wrap elegantly around all four sides of the dual fireplace.

In the kitchen, classic white solid wood shaker cabinets pair beautifully with durable quartz countertops, offering a timeless and functional workspace. Underfoot, prefinished engineered rustic grey walnut flooring ties the entire space together, adding depth and a touch of modern sophistication.
